Kewanna Video
Two well known (in Kewanna) Cinematographers, Wayne McPherson (63) and Marvin Good (66) made a movie of Kewanna in the fall of 1999. It starts out with early pictures of Main Street buildings and then focuses on each building as it stood in 1999. They tell when each building was built, by whom, and for what reason.
WARNING. If you haven't seen Kewanna in a while, you will be saddened. Several of those beautiful old buildings we grew up with are in very bad condition, perhaps beyond repair. Two, are gone completely.
To get your very own copy of this wonderful, historic video, E-mail Marvin Good at Trains451@yahoo.com.
It's just $10.00, shipping and handling included.
One word of caution, while looking at the deterioration of the back of one of the buildings, a couple of 4 letter words slipped out, so review the video yourself before you show it to the kiddies.
Oh, and don't forget to stop in for some old-fashioned service at the only remaining gas station in Kewanna, Key Discount Tire. Maybe Wayne will give you an autograph.
